Teacher as Reader: Book Talk

My attempt at acting as one of the characters for a book talk. So, I don't look Italian or like I fit into the time period the book is set, but the general idea is to have the students share book talks with one another by playing characters in the books they are reading. I would hope that it would give the students a chance to put themselves in the character's shoes to really see their perspective while also helping to make the books they are reading appeal to the interest of their classmates.

I think that these could also easily be recorded by a digital camera to give the students a chance to work with technology. The problem with this blog site is that it will only allow 100 MB of video, which is just under a minute so you have to keep it really short. I would expect the students' to be a little longer than that, so they could just be displayed on the computer/smartboard.
